This guide covers everything, from who needs it to the requirements, fees, booking your appointment, and whether you are a new applicant or renewing your application.

What is  RTC  Clearance Online in the Philippines?

RTC stands for Regional Trial Court.  An RTC clearance is a legal document you get from the clerk of the court. It basically gives evidence that applicants do not have any pending criminal or civil cases under that court’s jurisdiction. It simply means that it verifies that you have a clean record at the RTC level. RTC Clearance differs from NBI Clearance, which checks records at the national level , while a police clearance is for your city or municipality, but RTC is specific to the court itself.

The Regional Trial Court is the top-level Trial court in the Philippines . RTC handles major cases like serious crimes, murder, large-scale drug cases, and big financial disputes. So this clearance is equally important as other clearances for jobs, loans, and other legal requirements.
